2016 is coming to a close for both us and our blog. We decided to take a look back at our top five blogs that received the most traffic this past year. That doesn’t mean that they were necessarily written this year, just that they’re still getting plenty of visitors. Without further ado:

Targeting Optimization – Is It Really Helping Your Campaign?

This blog from 2015 got the most traffic in 2016, which just goes to show that quality content can last for quite a while. Focusing on Google Targeting Optimization, this post looked into what exactly the AdWords feature entailed and how it could help, or hurt, your campaigns. Take a read for yourself; it’s still helpful, especially if you’re new to AdWords!

Google Your Business to Test Your Paid Search Ads? Stop! There’s a Better Way

Many individuals, especially those new to Paid Search, aren’t aware of Google’s Ad Preview tool that took the spotlight on this blog all the way back from 2014. Ad Preview allows you to take a peek at your ads in a simulated SERP. Don’t mess up your metrics by Googling yourself; just preview and you’re good!

B…b…b… Bad to the Bone!

At Opportunity Max, we cater to the automotive market, so it’s no surprise that one of our top blogs is a review of an amazingly hot car. The 2014 Camaro Z/28 exploded onto the market and – judging by the traffic our blog is getting – it’s still fire hot! Look back at this marvel of engineering and style with us; you won’t regret it.

Google Analytics vs. Google Webmaster Tools: What’s the Difference?

Funny how such a simple blog from all the way back in 2013 is still in our top five. If you’ve ever wondered what the difference was between Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools (now Search Console) then maybe you’re one of the many visitors to this blog. If you haven’t, well then take a look, and you might just learn something new.
